This class will go through all of the steps to machine piece and hand quilt an alternate block 4-patch quilt.
These directions are for a 60” square made of 85 4” 4-patch blocks, 84 4” solid blocks, with an additional 4” border.
Supplies:
10-15 pieces of cotton quilting fabric- enough to make 170 2 ½” cut squares.
4 yards background fabric for 170 2 ½” cut squares, 85 4 ½” cut squares, 4 ½” cut border pieces, and 2 ½”binding.
Backing fabric pieced to make a 66” square
Twin size batting
Quilting Hoop
sewing machine and sewing thread
#7 quilting needles and quilting thread
Rotary cutter set or sharp sewing shears
