I was never fond of sunflowers until now, when the coronavirus pandemic happened and we are forced to stay home to help stop the virus from spreading. I guess it's true that the color yellow can help improve your mood because as I was preparing for this class and practicing painting this flower, I noticed that I was not worrying so much and I also felt lighter. And so, now I am very happy to share my process with you, and not only guide you with the painting process but also hopefully bring joy as you paint this bright yellow bouquet!
This class was filmed in real time so you can paint along. All the basic brush strokes and techniques are also provided, so this is a class that even beginners will be able to participate in.
Using the basic brush strokes that I have demonstrated in the second video in this class, you will be able to paint sunflowers in various different angles and will even be able to paint an entire bouquet! Before you proceed to painting the project, I highly recommend that you practice these basic brush strokes and paint individual flowers first. I also encourage you to share your project here and on Facebook or Instagram, so I can provide feedback and you can also post any questions or comments you may have on this class.
