Create 12 Different Landscapes!
In this class I'm going to show you how to paint twelve different mountain landscapes in watercolour. One of the things I struggled with as a beginner was learning how to loosen up my brushstrokes without sacrificing on detail.
This class will help you loosen up as well as go though some essential wet-on-wet watercolour techniques that will make your life easier and allow watercolours to 'paint itself'. This class is for beginners to intermediate learners. I'm looking forward to sharing my knowledge with you, so join me in this class and you'll be producing some simple and beautiful paintings in no time!
Included demonstration paintings:
For the class project, referring to my completed paintings or the attached photos below as a reference, lightly sketch in the outline(s) of the landscape you would like to paint and remember to also sketch in some loose background shapes such as leaves, branches over the top.
Using the tips and techniques shown in this class, create your own paintings for one or more of the scenes demonstrated. You can even change the colours to your liking. If you're feeling adventurous, try finding your own reference picture and use the tips and techniques to create your own unique painting.
Upload your creations under projects! If you have any questions, let me know in the discussion/project and I will get back to you.
