If you're brand new to coding, or you're thinking about maybe getting into web development/coding as a career or hobby, this course should be your very first step.
Along the way, I'll explain terminology and common words we use in the industry. And then we'll dive into open source and what it is, why it's important and what companies are looking for in open source contributions.
Lastly, we'll create a very simple HTML web page as your final project and I'll show you how you can get into web development in as little as 10 minutes.
You will get a code editor setup on your computer and write a few lines of code which will be your first official web page.
You'll open it in your browser and then take a screenshot of your web page.
Don't forget to share your final code (or screenshot) in your Arbington Project!
